Oriental Kopi officially marked a major milestone with the launch of its first outlet in Sabah at Suria Sabah Shopping Mall. Held in the heart of Kota Kinabalu, the grand opening ceremony celebrated the brand’s expansion into Sabah while bringing together distinguished guests, government officials, members of the media and invited partners.

The launch event was officiated by YB Datuk Chan Foong Hin, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Security Malaysia. Also present during the ceremony was Datuk Dr. Awang Alik bin Jeman, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Home Affairs Malaysia , alongside Datuk Sh Sitti Saleha Habib Yussof, Director of the Sabah Immigration Department.

Located within one of Kota Kinabalu’s most prominent retail and tourism destinations, the new Oriental Kopi outlet represents the brand’s first expansion into Sabah. The grand opening ceremony began with the arrival of invited guests and members of the media, followed by the arrival of the Guest of Honour. The event officially commenced with welcoming remarks by the emcee before proceeding with an opening speech by Datuk Dr. Awang Alik bin Jeman and followed by an officiating speech delivered by YB Datuk Chan Foong Hin.

Following the speeches, the ceremony continued with an official ribbon-cutting session to commemorate Oriental Kopi’s first Sabah outlet opening. Guests were then invited for a group photography session and a token of appreciation presentation to the Guest of Honour. The event concluded with a guided store tour and signature tasting session, where invited guests experienced Oriental Kopi’s signature menu selections and hospitality concept firsthand.

Guests at the new outlet can enjoy Oriental Kopi’s well-loved signature offerings including its classic hand-brewed coffee, Nasi Lemak, Curry Laksa, Char Kuey Teow, egg tarts, and kaya butter toast.
